NO JOB TOO SMALL

Sometimes we hear people say "I couldn't use a landscape designer because my area is too small."
Well, Claudia begs to differ.  There's no space, no job too small.  Take a look at these Before & After samples.

This house has two small flower beds, one on each side of the sidewalk leading to the porch.

◄ Before
Both flower beds were planted, but they didn't seem connected.  All the plants are the same height.

► After
By adding some river gravel and some larger rocks in each bed, Claudia was able to tie them together.  She also brought the right-hand bed out beyond the corner of the walk to emphasize the flow & give them a more organic look.  She also included taller plants, & some to add other textures to the mix.

No job too small!

Here's another "small" project.

◄ Before
The driveway has a railroad tie separating it from the neighbor's car.

► After
The new custom-designed fence adds a new flavor to the front of the house & effectively hides the car.

This isn't a big project, but it changes the look of the house in a big way.

The old taxus plants offer large shapes, but no color or texture.

► After
With the taxus gone, a variety of new shapes, textures, & colors add personality to the bed.  Bringing it a little further out into the yard ties it to the bed across the brick walkway.

This likewise isn't a big project,
but it adds a great deal
to this side of the house

Another small space project, this one long & skinny between the house & the paved area.

There's no landscaping to start with, just that empty area near the fence.

► After
Color, texture, varying heights — it will look even better after it's had a year or two to grow.

Again starting from nothing.

The upright growing plants help break up the blank wall.

It's a night-and-day difference.
